Children’s Bureau is a nonprofit leader in protecting vulnerable children through prevention, treatment and advocacy.  The agency has served Antelope Valley families for 30 years with programs and services including child development, parent education, home visitation, infant health, relative caregiver support, after-school tutoring, mental health, foster care and foster-adoption.  There is a current need for individuals and/or couples to foster or foster-adopt children in need.  Learn more at all4kids.org or attend one of our monthly information meetings held in Palmdale and Lancaster.

Homes 4 Families was founded in Los Angeles in 2008 and exists to meet the significant need for affordable housing and effective, no-cost services that equip veteran families to move up the economic ladder. With the support of CalVet and generous corporate sponsors and individual donors, we have helped over 374 low-income families achieve their dreams of safe, affordable home ownership. This includes 138 low-income veterans and military families. In the next few years, we will add 77 additional military families to this number.

The Sophia Elizabeth Foundation is a Christian based non-profit organization founded in 2015 in The Antelope Valley, with a simple mission in mind; help Low-Income families with children enrolled in K-12 Grade with the essential school supplies and with financial assistance for educational related expenses. Our mission is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed by providing free school supplies locally to students most in need.
